Daniel Day-Lewis was awesome.
He totally deserved his Oscar for his accent alone. It was so cool.
I had no idea that Paul Dano was the same kid from Little Miss Sunshine. What a great actor.
The music. Omg. Constant suspense music. Drove me insane. So much impending doom!
The whole parent/child element was so potent and incredibly sad.
One word: Milkshake.
Anything with Ciarán Hinds, you know its gotta be good.
Wanted to punch Eli in the face the entire movie.
Intense is an understatement.
I really hated that music.

I saw this yesterday with a friend and we were giggling and all the horrible parts and she was pretty on the edge of her seat.
There really isn't anything suspenseful or scary in it, but the tone created by the weird music and dialogue delivery just made it spine chilling.
I went to bed that night with that annoyingly scary tune in my head and it sucked. Paul Dano was great!
It was pretty super long tooo!
And yeah,we could not resist popping out the milk-shake-brings-all-the-boys-to-the-yard line when the dude said he would totally drink the other guy's milkshake. Possibly a really kinky sexual inuendo- but not really. I laughed.
you've been watching a lot of oscar® movies lately, lady!
I want to see this badly.
